My first make-up job was quite interesting. Being a visual display artist, I was hired to help with a window display on 5th Avenue in NYC that needed to be more "haute". We came up with the idea to paint amazing makeup looks on the mannequins. At 4am I hear a knock on the windows, I look and there was a woman outside admiring the makeup. She flashed her business card and POOF...my makeup career began.
Fast forward to now, I have been in the industry for 20+ years and have had the pleasure of working in various forms of the beauty industry (in-store, fashion week, television, print) but my passion still comes from the one on one with a client. Listening to her/his story and challenges in makeup. With that knowledge building a look that they feel their best. Everyone deserves to see "their" beauty.
