After years of development, we've created a formula that closely matches Kevyn Aucoin's original eyeliner shades, achieving rich pigmentation - especially for the black pencil - despite the ban on the original carbon black ingredient. We're proud of how faithfully this new product captures the essence of the original.
Glide the pencil along waterline, lash line, or lid. Leave as is or blend for a smoky effect before the formula sets. Remove with an oil cleanser, waterproof makeup remover, micellar water, or your favorite gentle face wash.
To sharpen for extra precision: remove the end of pencil to reveal the built-in sharpener. Wind the pencil up to reveal more product and gently press the sharpener cone down and twist. Wipe away sharpened product, no shavings or mess – and no need to keep a separate sharpener on hand!
Work quickly, one eye at a time. In Perspective Eyeliner Pencil dries down quickly and is designed to stay once set!
LINER: Apply along the lash line and in your desired line shape. Leave as is or blend edges out for a more diffused look. For a more precise line, pick up product by swiping the Angled Eyeliner Brush directly onto the pencil tip and then apply.
TIGHTLINE: Trace the space between your eye and lashes to give the illusion of a fuller lash. Can be applied on top or bottom waterline; or both.
CREAM SHADOW: Apply product on eyelid and at lower lash line and blend out quickly with the Duet Precision Shadow Brush. Add more pigment where necessary for buildable color.
SHADOW BASE: Apply product in desired area as a base for shades in the The Contour Eyeshadow Palette to lock in the shadow powder and create more depth and darkness. We especially love to do this with the Black & Brown pencils.
